Enrolling with FLO involves just a few simple steps:

1. Most applicants get started by logging into our enrollment site, answering a few simple questions and providing basic biographical information. This "pre-enrollment" process is used to generate an account number and to expedite the overall enrollment process.
2. Applicants can complete their enrollment by visiting an authorized FLO enrollment center. FLO utilizes mobile enrollment kiosks to process most of its enrollments – the majority of which are conducted at corporate campuses, business conferences, trade shows, and prearranged hotel venues.
3. As part of the enrollment process, applicants must provide our specially trained and government-certified enrollment personnel with two forms of government-issued identification. A photo is taken and a FLO employee assists applicants in inputting their fingerprints and iris images into the system. For more detailed information on the process, please click here.
   At every step in the process military grade encryption is used to safeguard the storage and transmittal of all applicant data. The completed application is then sent to the TSA for review and approval. A background check is performed by the TSA to determine eligibility for admission into the program. (TSA does not disclose details of this process for security reasons).

Using the card is even easier:

4. Upon approval, new members are mailed a tamper proof and highly secure access card for use at all participating RT airports within the United States.
5. All RT lanes are designed with specialized access. Upon entering such lanes, members are asked to present their card, insert it into the RT kiosk, and authenticate their identity with their fingerprint or by looking at the iris camera attached to the kiosks.
6. As part of the authentication process, two additional ongoing security checks are performed confirming that the membership is current and that the government has not revoked or otherwise altered the traveler's security status.
7. Once authenticated, FLO members proceed through expedited security in accordance with RT screening procedures established by TSA.
