Personal Information

What sort of information will I need to provide?

During pre-enrollment, you will only be asked to provide basic biographical information that uniquely identifies you (e.g., name, address, email and phone). During enrollment you will be asked to provide additional information to support background checks (e.g., identification documentation, employer information) and you will need to input your biometric information (iris and fingerprint scans). You must also agree to a background check.

FLO Corporation is committed to protecting the privacy of its members. The FLO solution for RT incorporates data security technologies and practices to protect member information. Moreover, FLO Corporation will never sell information about its members.

Will FLO Corporation use customer information for marketing purposes?

While FLO Corporation considers the prospect of special offers and incentives provided to its members to be a key benefit, FLO members will not receive any marketing information unless they explicitly choose to do so.

Who has access to my information? What security procedures are in place?

When you enroll in the RT Program, we collect biographic, biometric and payment information. A limited set of that data will be securely transmitted to the TSA for its security threat assessment using cryptography algorithms to encrypt all sensitive data. FLO does not share personal or account information with any external entity without consent of its individual members, unless required by law.

TSA certification standards can be found on the TSA RT Website at www.tsa.gov.

What happens if my FLO Card is lost or stolen?

The FLO Card is designed to be a tamper-proof identity credential. It is biometrically secured and uses encryption technology, which ensures that the information stored on it can only be accessed or used by the card's proper owner. FLO Corporation has a mechanism to enable customers to replace lost or stolen cards in a timely manner. Customers in need of a new card should call the helpdesk to begin the replacement process.

Will the FLO Card have the capability to act as a credit or debit card?

No, not at this time. While FLO Corporation architecture has the capability to support credit and debit transactions, the initial FLO Card will be a secure identity credential only. FLO Corporation is conducting research on the market demand for an integrated identity credential and financial instrument, and may introduce such a product if there is a demand for it.
